With the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan, both the trust of the people and the security will be established

A former diplomat of our country, stating that the events in Afghanistan indicate that a kind of internal settlement has been formed among the Taliban, said: the result of the actions that take place in Afghanistan is chaos, civil war. And it will be insecurity.

In an interview with ISNA, Mohsen Rouhi Sefat, in his assessment of the current situation in Afghanistan in view of the terrorist incidents that have taken place in recent weeks, said: “One of the important developments that caused the United States to leave Afghanistan and hand over the government to the Taliban.” It was that they wanted to transfer the government without any agreement and result, and now the country is in a state of uncertainty and the Taliban have not been able to establish an alternative government.
“This was the result of a kind of quasi-coup in Afghanistan while negotiations were taking place and the Taliban were negotiating with a number of parties and groups over the transitional government, but it seems that some people from the intelligence service,” he said. The southern neighbor, Pakistan, and some Taliban members staged the coup, colluding while they were not scheduled to enter Kabul.
This former diplomat of our country believes: such a situation shows that organizations are established in Afghanistan and Kabul and have a deep gap between them. And every side is trying to gain full power, which is why we are witnessing explosions and terrorist incidents in Kunduz, Kandahar and Kabul.
The former deputy director of the State Department’s Office of Political Studies also said: “These developments seem to be a kind of internal settlement in which forces and individuals are involved.” In fact, forces such as ISIS have ties to some Taliban members and carry out such actions. We saw that a Taliban commander from Kabul was killed in an attack on a hospital in Kabul. The first person to enter and take the citadel was also killed. All of this indicates a kind of internal showdown among the Taliban, each trying to consolidate power.
Rouhi Sefat continued: Mullah Baradar had said in his first interview that they would probably take the capital from Kabul to Kandahar. They thought that Kandahar, which is the center of their leader Mullahibatullah, was a safer place, but during this time we saw that Mullahibatullah had not yet arrived in Kabul and had not been active. This shows that they still feel insecure.
“By saying that part of the Taliban also captured Kabul, it means that they are seeking to consolidate power and work for the rest,” he said, adding that the result was nothing but riots, civil war and divisions in Afghanistan. / p>
The former diplomat of our country continued: “Foreign countries can also be influential to some extent, but they should have tried to form an inclusive government before these events took place, but this did not happen.” Even the American methodology was so wrong that it did not give its neighbors a chance to emerge. He thought he did not need the participation of others, but it turned out that they could not do it completely, and we are witnessing continued instability today. The Taliban are expected to come to their senses and form an inclusive government in order to gain the trust of the Afghan people and establish security.
“Our policy is not to escalate the crisis, to calm the situation and to protect our interests,” he said. This series of actions and meetings with neighbors should also lead to consultations on the proximity of views in order to be effective.
